FRESHERS WEEK AND SOCIAL EVENTS

Oxford boast’s a vibrant student nightlife. With two Universities; University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University – there will be plenty of students out during Freshers Week.

Often social events and nights out taking place in town are exclusively for new students, which are a fantastic way to make some new friends in the city. We’ve highlighted the biggest and most popular events of Oxford Freshers 2020 below.

Oxford freshers week is guaranteed to be packed with some huge events that you do not want to miss! You can find the full line-up of all the biggest events in our ‘Freshers Events’ section.

Yes, you can purchase a ticket or wristband for a friend or family member too. Each ticket comes with a unique barcode that will be scanned upon entry. As long as whoever you’re buying for is using a separate barcode to you, both tickets will be valid. Please note, the ticket DOES NOT need to be in their name.

Yes, bring one to be safe. Most nightclub venues will require you to present a Valid 18+ Government ID such as a Driver’s License or Passport upon entry.

For most events, doors open at 10pm. However, check your ticket for the confirmed time. We advise students to arrive early to avoid lengthy queues and guarantee entry.

COVID19 Protection Policy: We would like our customers to have peace of mind when they purchase from us. Therefore, in the unfortunate case that our freshers events do not take place on the displayed date due to nightclubs/bars still remaining closed: – We will postpone the event until a later date (when nightclubs/bars are reopened & it is safe for us all to party again) & your ticket will STILL BE VALID for that date. – If we are forced to CANCEL the event, we will issue a FULL refund on any ticket or wristband you have purchased.
